About Stillwood Study Center
Stillwood Study Center is a not-for-profit educational membership organization. It has been granted tax-exempt status 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service.
The purpose of Stillwood Study Center is:
To promote interest in and to study ideas relating to human development with the aim of enabling men and women to function more intelligently and actively within their community.
To investigate man's responsibility to himself, to others, and to his environment.
To promote the exchange of such ideas among its members and other people with similar interests.
To apply these ideas experimentally by working together through the use of arts, crafts, writing, dance, music, etc.
Constructed by its members, Stillwood Study Center has meeting rooms, a kitchen, and dining facilities. Stillwood is located on nearly three hundred acres of fields, woods, marshes, and ponds in the town of Palmyra, New York, and is home to a wide variety of wildlife and plants, including some rare species.
